Call this the unromatic traditional way of asking a hand in marriage hahaha. We were having conversations about marriage but I never knew it would come so quickly in an old fashion way, I call it special and rare nowadays.
He wrote a letter to my parents asking for my hand in marriage, what a lengthy process from one letter to the other lol. I thought to myself that this man has patiance. When that was over, Lobola negotiations were not even close to being easy, poor guy. Now that in itself took months to be finalised. Eventually that Season 1 episode 12 was over LOL. I waited in anticipation for that bling, going from jewellery store to the other. Little did I know, this man was on top of his game. The 1st of April 2017 he said we should just go out for dinner, special restuarant, and that I needed to wear something special. Not forgetting the weired questions all day long. However, it never hit me that, that was the day. He popped the question, my word he was a ball of nerves lol. I could not believe how blind I was the whole day. Obviously I said YES to my business partner, praying partner, lover, and my friend-who wouldnt :)
Mhhh lets see lol! Ok I saw him one day in my church but I knew there were no potentials in church hence i did not take note. Apparently he's been eyeing me for months in church and I just never noticed. I saw him again when we were celebrating my friend's (Retabile) birthday and once again he was eyeing me from a distance and never said anything. One day he was staring at me when I walked passed him, normally guys I know would look away as soon as I catch them staring but he never did. I got so uncomfortable and thought to myself that this guy is dodgy *giggles*. Suddenly he was coming to church every Sunday and every Wednesday during Easter. Eventually, when he walked pass our church choir, I took note too. Suddenly, he would be all I see in church looking smart in his suits, oh boy and I would be all fuzzy inside. God knows I have always wanted a tall man that prays, smarty pants, clean and goes to the same church as me. Oh my, his looks was a cherry on top *giggles*. The rest was history :)
The first time I ever laid my eyes on Yandi was in December 2013. She was in her choir uniform singing at a church service. I was in absolute ore that whole service, that day I didn't listen to the sermon because I was so distracted by her beauty. We didn't talk nor see each other until a year later at the same church. This time around I made sure I made eye contact and grab her attention. We became friends and started spending more time with each other. As time passed I realized that her inner beauty is even more attractive, and that's when I fell in love with her. She is an amazing person whose energies make me a better person
I was born in Port Elizabeth and lived there until the age of 29. I went to the Westering high and matriculated in 2002. Thereafter I went to Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University where I graduated with a National Diploma in Management majoring in Marketing and Economics. I now work for Brittish American Tobacco in George. I'm also a business partner in an events management and equipment hiring called Ventures Entertainment.
I enjoy the thrill of business and the responsibility it comes with it.
As a believer in God I attend church and that's where I met my beautiful soulmate Yandiswa. God has blessed us with deep love that keeps getting stronger and stronger. We share the same values and believe in each other and want to travel through life's journey together in God's grace
I was born in Dimbaza a small town near King Williams Town. At the age of 9 my parents moved to George. I am the second born, 2 sisters and 1 brother. I have a 5 year old handsome boy Ekho and soon to officially have another Mlibo who is 6 years old. I love them too bits. I graduated at the University of the Western Cape and I now work for the Provincial Government in Cape Town. I met Luzuko whilst I was working for the Cancer Association of South Africad and 7 months into our relationship, I got a new job in Cape Town. Before I met him, I use to love being around home and watching cartoons and laugh myself to death lol. I met him and all I would do, is go on dates, fill my house with bunches of flowers and lots of chocolates. I knew I had to make tight friends with Virgin Active (the gym). Lately, I have been consumed with wedding planning and the nice thoughts of waking up next to him and my little family for the rest of my life.
He is a God given gift to me because he is beyond everything I imagined in a husband. I thank God for answering my prayers!
